The middle & high school years are an emotional roller coaster where students frequently confront insecurity and depression. This can have an impact on their academic progress and add additional stress.
Accordingly, the school has taken steps to reduce the pressure that can lead to unwelcome distractions.
Mrs. Rader is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has experience in various areas of mental health including family therapy, substance abuse, social and emotional disabilities, suicidality, and self-harm.
■ Assessing students for substance use, physical & emotional well-being
■ Monitoring for peer issues, suicidal ideation, and other similar issues
■ Developing treatment plans
■ Providing therapeutic services to students
■ Providing case management services including referrals to community resources
■ Providing trainings and workshops to teachers, school staff and parents
■ Conducting home visits
